Meaningful self-review is about developing a way of thinking and acting as a school leader to build a culture of inquiry in your school.
It is focused on:
- development and improvement
- professional and organisational learning
- seeking and being open to feedback from all stakeholders including staff, students, family/whānau
- open and respectful communication
- collecting good evidence
- evidence-informed decision making.
The self-review mindset is about school leaders modelling these behaviours and values.
